Vintage 40s Swedish Army M1909 Parka
€525.00Vintage 40s WWII Swedish army issued M1909 winter parka
Originally, these sheepskin-lined coats were issued by the Swedish army to their troops to withstand the freezing winter temperatures of Scandinavia. These parkas have gained iconic status for their rugged design and exceptional quality. In Sweden they are known as the “Livpäls,” which translates to “coat for life” – a name they truly seem to live up to.
This jacket was made by the Swedish military supplier Mats Larsson and still retains its original label as well as several military stamps.
It is the ultimate winter coat and can still be worn today.
After more than 80 years, the parka remains in perfect condition and almost doesnt show any signs of wear.
